Setting Up VPN on your iPhone / iTouch

virtual private networks (VPNs) are often used within organizations to allow you to communicate private information securely over a non-private network.

iPhone or iPod touch devices can connect to our VPN services over both Wi-Fi and cellular data network connections. Connecting over cellular data network would depend on your provider. Setting up VPN access with the iPhone & iPod Touch is easy.

If you are in Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, China you are not able to browse many sites on your iphone because the internet service provider are filtering the web traffic. Here are the steps to crate a VPN connection on your Iphone or iTouch:

STEP 1

Open the iPhone or iPod Touch Settings.

Now click on "General" to view settings.

Click to open the "Network" settings

Click on the VPN in order to add a VPN configuration

Pleae click on "Add VPN Configuration" as shown in the image below.

L2TP VPN Fill out the fields and then press save

STEP 7

It is good to have both PPTP & L2TP. Now click "Add VPN Configuration" and touch the "PPTP" tab

To connect, click Settings, the VPN, now select the VPN that you want to connect to. Turn the VPN on.
