How Does A VPN Work?

By using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) account that we provide, you will be able to access the internet through a secure encrypted connection to our servers and bypass ISP restrictions you are currently facing in your region.

With this technology that is easily set up on most computers your data is sent via a so called encrypted "Private Tunnel" to our servers. The filtering mechanisms in place by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is bypassed and you are able to surf freely and use applications like Skype and save a bundle!

Also, ISP no longer can keep logs on your online surfing habits!

So, not only do you get the internet freedom you deserve but also our VPN Service provides an Anonymous (New IP), Private and Secure Internet connection.

Are there Any System Requirements?

Our service will work with computers running on Windows 2000/XP/Vista & Mac OS X.

No additional software is required to use our VPN service as we utilize the VPN feature already in your computer operating system. Once you signup, we will send you all the VPN account information required to set up a connection to our servers and you are set!

What's the VPN Price?

We offer different VPN services. Each VPN service is offered at discounted rates depending on the length of the VPN service you choose. Please refer to the different VPN connections to view current pricing. For example. a one month account might be 15 USD while a 6 month account 75 USD. This means that each month is just over 11 USD!!!!

What are The Benefits of a VPN?

VPNaccounts.com is a leader in anonymous web surfing solutions. many people don't realize and understand the importance of anti-spyware and anonymous surfing programs that protect your online identity.

By not using an anonymous web surfing solution, your online activities can be tracked, not weeks in the future but months or even years down the road due to the log file kept by your ISP provider.

What is the Encryption in Use?

We use PPTP Encryption. PPTP is most compatible with SOHO devices. We also offer L2TP IPsec via shared key.

Any Account Limitations?

Our VPN plans have no limitations. However, we do not advise on using it for torrents and p2p of copyrighted material. Using the VPN and making copyrighted material available via p2p to other peers will result in account termination. Should we receive a warning from the Home Box Office or alike, we would provide user account details. Including your real IP address.

How About Multiple Connections

Vpn Accounts are for single use. However, you may buy additional VPN connections at any time.

Should we log your account connected twice at the same time we may terminate your vpn account subscription.

Compatibility Concerns

  • Web Browsers
  • e-mail applications
  • Windows Messenger
  • Skype.. VoIP
  • ICQ
  • Access to Blogs & Newsgroups

How does Anonymity Work?

Our VPN Server Connection allows you to use the same internet service provider (ISP) you currently have and at the same time you remain anonymous in all your internet activities by routing your traffic through our servers via a secure encrypted tunnel... a Virtual Private Network (VPN) making it impossible for even your isp to "spy" on you.

By using our services, whenever you visit a website, send email, chat, ICQ, AIM, IRC, FTP, Peer to Peer (P2P), make internet phone calls etc., your real IP address is not provided to the other people involved in the transaction. This is a tremendous preventive measure against hacking. Most hacking is based on using your real IP address, which the hacker won't be able to get, without that they have no idea where to hack into. As a result we are in fact acting as a firewall keeping you safe from any abuse.

Your internet provider retains a log file that shows the times your IP address was used and where it connected to. Some internet providers save these log files indefinitely and they may give these files to whoever asks with or without a court order and this would mean every website you visited and everything you did is no longer private... BUT when using a VPN account via us, all that your ISP log would show is nothing other than an encrypted connection to a server. All internet traffic leaves one of our given servers with the same external IP address. All the traffic of many users becomes mingled together and inseparable should someone try to do it. Thus the anonymity.

While using the VPN service at VPNaccounts.com all internet traffic is automatically routed via us and you don't need to remember to route everything through a proxy.

Simply put, 1 click that's all!

Does Skype work in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Belize, China or elsewhere when Blocked by ISP?

YES! Once you have subscribed and set up the VPN you will be able to use programs such as Skype to make calls from the UAE, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, China, Belize just as you would if you were in the US.

Also you would be able to avoid the high calling charges to make international phone calls! Besides the quality of sound may be further improved by using VPN!

How do I Configure my Computer for the VPN?

When you place an order we will send you your account details and a step by step guide instructing you about how to connect to our service. You will follow some simply instruction to set up the vpn and enter the login details that we will email you once payment clears. NO installation required!!

You can also set up a VPN connection manually. For more information you can refer to the VNP Configuration

2. The modem has been disabled.
3. The modem drivers are corrupted.
4. Spyware is running on the computer and is interfering with the connection.
5. Winsock has to be repaired.
6. Third-party firewall software is blocking the connection.

This should fix this issue. For more information please visit : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892889

Why do I get Error 691?

If you are getting error 691 it is most probably due to one of the following reasons.

1 - The user name or password is incorrect.

Make sure that you enter your user name and password exactly as displayed after your purchase, or in the receipt e-mail.

2 - Another computer is already connected with the same account.

If you're certain that no other computer is connected, wait a few minutes and then try to connect again.

3 - Make sure the Include Windows logon domain check box is unchecked in the Options tab of the connection's Properties dialog box.

4 - The account has expired

Do note that some ISPs do not send disconnection request automatically when a user restart or shutdown the pc before disconnecting from vpn, so the user may remain online and the server wont allow new connection with the same ID. This will also cause for VPN error 619.

Why do I get Error 721?

If you are getting error 721 please check the router settings and make sure TCP Port 1723, IP Protocol 47 (GRE) are opened. Also make sure that the router has the PPTP enabled and no firewall (Windows or other) blocking the traffic. Then try again using the login details given to you. You may want to try L2TP too.

VPN on Vista with Live OneCare Installed - It Blocks VPN

Windows Live OneCare replaces the existing built-in firewall and although applications are enabled by default for communication, certain required ports aren't. Thus, when you attempt to create a VPN connection to a network, the process will appear to hang, then fail, at the username and password authentication stage. To resolve the problem, perform these steps:

1. Start the Windows Live OneCare console (right-click the OneCare taskbar icon, which is normally a green circle with 1 in it, and select "Open Windows Live OneCare").
2. On the left side of the OneCare dialog box under Other Tasks, click the "View or change settings" link.
3. On the "Windows Live OneCare Settings" dialog box, select the Firewall tab.
4. Click the "Advanced settings" button.
5. Select the "Ports and Protocols" tab on the "Advanced settings" dialog box.
6. Select the "VPN - General Routing Encapsulation (GRE)" check box.
7. Click OK to all open dialog boxes.

Please specify port range as 1722-1723

How do You do It?

How we do it and we take it you are referring to how we get you passed blocked sites and how applications work when ISP is blocking them.

How it all works will have to remain a secret. Besides if we told you how it is done and how we are able to bypass the filtering mechanisms then everyone would be doing it and some would try to stop it. Do you want to go back to having everything blocked? Do you want loose internet anonymity? Your right to privacy? We didn't think so :)
