Oman Tourist Attractions: Things to do!

Are you planning to travel to Oman and not sure about the Oman attractions? We decided to list several of the most common things tourists do after arriving to Oman capital muscat.

One thing you will definetly need to be aware about is that they do filter internet content and some of your favorite sites may not be accessible while in Oman. They also block VoIP application so SKYPE out service will not work unless you use our services. Here are some things to do in Oman that may be of interest.

There is a lot to see and do in Oman, but most of it has to do with making a buck.  There are some especially attractive places to visit for people who are looking for a little more in their trip, and The Grand Mosque is one of them. 

Camel Races! In Oman, there is a fundamental part of life that has turned into something incredible.  Camels, which used to be used only for traditional farm work, traveling, and desert life is now part of a huge ring of camel racers.

The Muscat Gate Museum is in the capital city of Muscat. Situated on Al Saidiya street,  this museum has displays about Oman's history dating back to the Neolithic period and upwards through time to the present day.  Oman has a very rich past and a history of chaos

In Oman, some of the most picturesque scenes can be found.  Although the desert in mostly a barren wasteland, Oman isn't.  There are many chances to get desert time in Oman, and all of these opportunities are fantastic photography chances. 

The Wadi Bani Khalid is a valley within the country of Oman.  Getting to the Wadi Bani Khalid is a trip in itself, and a magnificent one at that.  Great views of the mountains, villages, and it isn't very touristy. 

In Oman, there is a museum called the Bait Al Zubair.  It's located in Muscat, the capital city of Oman.  Oman is over 320,000 square kilometers of landscape with over 5,000 years of history.

The Souks are a lot of fun and they are incredibly exciting.  And, being able to cash in your purchase in a country far away for double or triple what you paid for is enticing to say the least.
